The BIG ROVE is a 36-mile bike ride along the Iowa River Corridor Trail.  The ride is an out-and-back route starting and ending at the Big Grove Brewery in Iowa City with a turn-around point at Big Grove in Solon featuring a Big Grove lunch, Big Rove swag, and the company of a great community of bicyclists.

About the Iowa Bicycle Coalition

This event is produced by the Iowa Bicycle Coalition, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.  The mission of the Iowa Bicycle Coalition is to promote safe and enjoyable bicycling in Iowa through education, events, better policy, and growing a community of supporters.

The Coalition is a state-wide bicycle advocacy organization that works on more places to ride bicycles and better bike policy.  Our biggest program works to get more kids walking and bicycling to school.  We also work on bike policy and funding at the Iowa legislature and the Iowa Department of Transportation.

Visit our Strategic Plan to learn more about the work that you fund.

Pedal with a purpose

A portion of the profits from the event funds the advocacy work of the Iowa Bicycle Coalition.  Your funding helps us pay for staffing, materials, websites, and much more.  Rides are expensive to produce, so we ask for membership and donations along the way to help us accomplish our work to make Iowa a better place for bicyclists.

You can join the Iowa Bicycle Coalition with your registration (and get a discount along with discounts to future events).  Or, you can donate to support our work at any time.  Just visit www.iowabicyclecoalition.org/gives.
